Acoustic Absorption Panels for Home Theater
Sometimes a room can just sound too lively. Maybe you get an echo, or dialogue sounds a bit muddy, or maybe sound seems to bounce around when it should be directed forward. Adding some Acoustic Absorption Panels in the right places can help things feel a lot cleaner.
You don’t need to install acoustic panels on every surface of your room. Try to find where you notice reflections most. Usually this means on the side walls around your listening position. The rear wall and ceiling are possible candidates too, depending on your room.
Adding more panels isn’t always better. Strategic placement is important. Under-treated rooms will have unfettered reflections. Over-treating your room can make it sound lifeless. Somewhere in between these extremes is the sweet spot.
